Since the time Donald Trump took over the presidential office in the US, certain debatable issues have come to the forefront and this one definitely is on the list. Now, there is a question within the formerly stated one – With Trump’s overpowering obsession towards nuclear action, which one, here, is the real threat? Although the world is now aware of North Korea’s rigid government vigilance over its citizens and regulating any activity that says or does things against the government, yet would it really be a threat to the rest of the world when it comes to nuclear power? Well, that’s the question of concern here.
What is the actual scenario?
Time and again, people all over the world have witnessed Trump’s prominent obsession with nuclear weapons. Lately, in 2016, he raised a horrifying query “If we have them, why not use them?” which clearly distinguishes him from the previous leaders of the nation. While most of the leaders around the globe are searching ways for peaceful co-existence, Trump is instigating violent action and that too to be specific – nuclear action. Recent news says that Japan and South Korea have expressed concerns regarding North Korea’s advancement in nuclear power. Therefore, the threat is actually grown out of insecurity, if that could be said, on the part of the US government to lose their position in possessing the most powerful nuclear weapon that would indirectly keep the rest of the world beneath them. What Trump is, therefore, aiming at, is to constantly accuse North Korea in order to prove the latter wrong and thereby giving his own nation the opportunity to attack in defense.
The debate continues
Lately, North Korea has tested the specimens of nuclear weapons that it possesses which has threatened the formerly possessed the higher power of US. The ballistic missile consisting of a nuclear warhead is capable enough to burn down the entire US along with its territories of the Pacific. The only matter of concern here is that the radiation that would come out of the explosion of the nuclear weapons would bring more harm to the already threatened climatic plight of the world. The world does not need more wars and weapons, but leaders of nations hardly even care about petty issues such as climate and its protection. It can hardly be forgotten how Trump skipped the issues raised at G20 summit 2017 regarding clauses of climate protection. Americans have always been on the side of “preventive war theory”, since the time of the nuclear dawn. However, Trump has never really been known for his tolerance and therefore whether or not the US would still stick to their old war methods or acquire new ones is yet to be witnessed.
Beyond the borders of US, the expected threat has affected nations as far as Australia, Vietnam, and Taiwan etc. Therefore, it is only a matter of time when words take form into action and the world witnesses something unbelievable and absolutely unwanted.
